The Ballet Shop was set up in 2000, when Geraldine Spiteri started to import dancewear from Sansha – having danced for a long time, this was only a natural progression. We have supplied young little girls and boys starting out in the theatre and dance world, as well as theatre companies, dance comanies and theatre and dance schools. Other brands include Roch Valley and a local brand, Delina’s Dancewear, as well as Gio Debut.
The shop not only sells to local customers – we take pride in shipping worldwide, where the postage costs permit. Shipping is calculated on a basic average but we will advise if it will be so costly as not to be worth your while. You might still choose to order the item!
The Ballet Shop also has a physical shop inside the College of Dance, in San Gwann, Malta. Here we not only cater for the uniforms of the College but also for other general dance requirements. When we receive an enquiry for items we do not have in stock, we are generally able to source it through our excellent suppliers.
We operate mostly by appointment or through online orders. Please do make sure to get in touch to set an appointment if you need to try on your dancewear or shoes!
We are registered for VAT in Malta – VAT No. MT 1585-8325 – and will provide you with a VAT receipt once your order is completed. If you are ordering from anywhere else in the EU, you may wish to provide us with a valid VAT number so that we can adjust your invoice in accordance with the applicable legislation.
