The Ballet Shop celebrates its 15th Anniversary

The Ballet Shop celebrated 15 years since it first opened its doors to business in 2000.  Back in 1999, as founder, I had gone through 4 pairs of pointe shoes through a single production – which is not much in terms of dance, but quite a lot for a student (as I was at the time).

This inspired me to try to order some shoes from abroad, which is when someone suggested that if I was going to make that kind of effort, I may as well import some extra items and offer them for sale to my ballet classmates.

I borrowed the first EUR 450.00 … and never looked back.  Today, the physical shop is one one of Malta’s most prestigious dance schools, and we are re-launching the website.  As always, an important feature will be the special offers corner, and we will kick off by offering goods for sale at special prices over the summer term, so as to help you celebrate our 15 years.

If you are an existing customer, thank you for your business and support – we hope to continue to serve you.  If you are still new to us, we will be happy to help you too!
