Etiquette – is it for dancers?
Etiquette also exists in dance. Proper dance training is disciplined, and respects others. Such as turning up well-groomed and on time, participating and behaving well during class and giving each other space for their moves as much as possible.
Etiquette means respecting other people in the studio and in the changing room. It means that you are aware that others are also benefitting from the class – whether it is syllabus, rehearsal or open class. People have invested time and money in being there, and so have you. Dance Informa is carrying a really interesting article today.
