Insight
I first began to admire Rudolf Nureyev’s unique portrayal of the heros in ballet when I was quite young and used to borrow ballet books from the school library. When I was around 15, nursing a knee injury, there was a televised interview of Mr Nureyev together with a historic documentary. I watched this, painfully aware that I could never get that far with my knee problems.
I have to say, at the ballet schools I attended, we learned to dance, but nothing about the history of this magnificent form of art, or those who brought it forward in any way. Our blog aims to change that and bring some knowledge into the world.
Our online shop does have some items that are good for both men and women – and if you want particular bits of male dancewear, please let us know! Some ideas we have are: the extremely flexible Dynamo dance sneakers and the Chicago pants!
